Our story

The first conversation between Mr. Lui and Ms. Liang is about the Caribbeans, via Facebook messages, in late 2012.

Mr. L: Hey, I just found out that I have a week off for X'mas next week and I'm thinking about planning a last-minute trip. I saw that you just came back from one!

Ms. L, who was just back from Cancun at the time and still has the post-travel highs, was excited to help with some trip research and gave him some suggestions. (and he ended up booking a trip to Puerto Rico the next day, just 3 days prior to going)

That night, when they both opened Google Maps on their computers and discussed travel joys, they hadn't yet known that this is the start of their journey.

Mr. L asked Ms. L out after he came back from the vacation. The excuse was to talk about the experience from the trip, a trip that was taken alone but was planned together. And in the following months there was a movie, a dinner, a museum, a hike...

We are both travel lovers, who enjoy both city sightseeing and nature adventures, both freestyle backpacking and relaxing vacations, both independent travels and trekking together, and always learning new things. So far, we have set foot in 20 countries in North and South America, Europe and Asia. We're always looking forward to visit more new places!

More importantly, we are looking forward to grow together and start the new chapter in our journey. We hope that our friends and families can be our witnesses, and we are happy to have your blessing!
